£35,000 to £45,000 plus bonus and benefits

A new opportunity to join a fast-growing and award-winning pension consultancy with operational presence in Reading. Due to continued success, this reputable firm is seeking an Assistant Pension Consultant to join a growing team of around 10 CRMS.

You will be responsible for supporting the Client Relationship Managers who will be managing a portfolio of around 6 large Defined Contribution pension schemes, including a Hybrid and DB arrangement. You will be responsible for developing the overall relationship with the client from an administrative perspective and maintaining high levels of satisfaction with the service from both the client and members alike. You will be involved in any administrative projects or complex queries from clients. You will support the CRM’s on all aspects of day to day client work, with the view to eventually become a fully fledges Client Relationship Manager.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience working in a client facing role, with either DC or DB schemes, and be operating as a Senior Pensions Administrator or Team Manager looking to step up into a client facing role.
